Why is useful book an entrance to a museum?
The benefit of booking is that you can skip the line at the entrance, going directly to the book cash and saving time that you can use inside the museum.
Does the ticket with reservation cost more?
Yes, the ticket with reservation has a different cost according to the museum price. Italy Travels applies online booking fees ranging from 2 to 5 euros per ticket based on the museum.
How can I book?
You can make a reservation on Italy Travels web site, selecting the museum you want to visit and then choosing the date and the time that will need to be respected. The booking process is simple and fast!
Can I pay directly at the museum?
No, the booked ticket must be prepaid at the time of booking.
What are the payment methods?
You can pay by Credit card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Poste Pay) or prepaid card, bank transfer (not for reservations too close to the date), PayPal or CartSì.
What do I get after the reservation?
Once the on line booking process is completed, you will reserve the fist mail to the e mail address that you insert on the booking form. This first mail is the copy of the order. You will receive a second mail, containing the voucher for your visit. The sending of the voucher is not automatic, it takes time to work on your order, usually a few time. If the reservation is made during the night or on a non- working day the voucher will be sent you the next day.
Do I have to print the voucher or can I show it on a mobile device?
The vouchers must to be printed in every case, except for the State Museums of Florence, the Borghese Gallery in Rome and for the group or privare guided tours. In all these cases, it will be enough to show the voucher on a mobile device.
If I lose my voucher, can I reprint or request it?
Yes, you can write us an email and ask us for a second submission, or call us. You can also download the voucher directly from the web site.
What are the different ways to visit a museum?
We offer different ways of visiting: skip the line tickets, the ticket with the audioguide, the group guided your, the private guided tour.
What is the differce between a group tour and a private visit?
Purchasing a group guided tour, the visitor joins a group already formed and with the other tourists visits the museum listening the explanation of the guide. If there are more then 10 participants the earphones are includes in the price. If you prefer to have an exclusive guide or take a tour with personalized feautures (thematic itineraries, children’s tours, visit for disabled), you can choose a private tour with an exclusive guide.
Who are the tourist guides of Italy Travels?
The tourist guides of Italy Travels have been selected by our responsible office of the itineraries. Italy Travels has multi-year collaboration with specialized Guide Center that will guarantee the services even in case of unexpected last minute. Our guides are all experienced in history of art, regularly authorized by the province.
